Site to Go Refund, Withdrawal and Cancellation Policy
Rules for Site-to-Go subscriptions, trial access, additional website connections and separately booked add-on services.

2. Three-day free trial
Site to Go may be tested free of charge for three days.
- No plan fee is charged during the trial period.
- The exact end of the trial period is shown at checkout, in the order confirmation and in the customer account.
- If the subscription is cancelled before the trial period expires, no first paid renewal will take place.
- Cancellation prevents future charges.
- Content already created on the connected WordPress website remains in place.
- The statutory 14-day withdrawal period for consumers generally begins when the contract is concluded, usually when the plan is ordered on a binding basis or when the trial starts, and not only when the first charge is made.
3. Monthly and annual subscriptions
Site-to-Go plans renew in accordance with the monthly or annual billing interval selected at checkout until they are effectively cancelled.
An ordinary cancellation:
- ends the subscription at the end of the current trial or already paid billing period,
- prevents the next renewal charge,
- generally leaves access available until the contract ends,
- does not delete WordPress content already created.
Cancellation alone does not automatically result in a pro-rata refund of an already paid monthly or annual fee. Once the statutory withdrawal period has expired, there is generally no voluntary entitlement to reimbursement of an unused remaining period merely because of early non-use or a change of mind. Statutory rights in relation to defects, non-provision, unauthorised charges or other breaches of duty remain unaffected.
4. Statutory right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from contracts concluded online within 14 days of the contract being concluded.
No reason is required for withdrawal. It may in particular be declared:
- through the electronic “Withdraw from contract” function made available during the withdrawal period,
- by email to
wpsitetogo@gmail.com, - by post to the address stated above,
- using the model withdrawal form provided.
When the electronic withdrawal function is used, receipt is confirmed by email without undue delay.
Repayment after effective withdrawal
In the event of an effective withdrawal, we generally reimburse payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal declaration.
The refund is generally made using the same payment method used for the original payment. Credit-card payments are refunded through WooPayments or the payment service integrated there. Depending on the card-issuing bank, additional time may pass before the credit is visible in the account.
Beginning performance during the withdrawal period
If a consumer expressly requests that Site to Go begin providing the digital service before the withdrawal period expires, a reasonable pro-rata amount may be owed for the service provided up to withdrawal where the statutory requirements are met and the required information was supplied before the contract was concluded.
Immediately supplied digital content
Where a contract includes digital content that is supplied immediately and is not supplied on a tangible medium, such as an immediately activated plugin download, the right of withdrawal for that part of the contract may expire when provision begins if the consumer:
- expressly agreed that provision would begin before the withdrawal period expired,
- confirmed awareness that this would result in losing the right of withdrawal for that digital content, and
- received confirmation of the contract on a durable medium.
General acceptance of terms and conditions or a privacy policy does not replace this separate consent.
5. Business customers
Businesses within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code generally do not have a statutory consumer right of withdrawal.
For business customers, the contractual cancellation rules therefore generally apply once the paid plan has started. Refunds are provided in the event of:
- demonstrable duplicate or incorrect charges,
- justified statutory claims relating to defects or damages,
- an expressly promised goodwill decision.
6. Automatic renewals
An automatically processed monthly or annual renewal is not voluntarily refunded solely because cancellation was forgotten before the renewal date.
Exceptions apply in particular in the event of:
- a demonstrable duplicate charge,
- a charge despite timely and effective cancellation,
- a technical billing error,
- a statutory claim to withdrawal, price reduction, termination or reimbursement.
Customers can view the renewal date in their customer account and end the subscription using the cancellation function provided.
7. Additional WordPress websites
Additional website connections are billed as a recurring add-on service to the selected plan.
- Cancellation of an additional website generally takes effect at the end of its current billing period.
- Disconnecting the website early does not automatically result in a pro-rata refund.
- Content on the disconnected WordPress website remains in place.
- Statutory rights and refunds relating to incorrect or duplicate billing remain unaffected.
8. Optional AI image packages
Where Site to Go offers optional packages for AI-generated images, these apply exclusively to image generation initiated through Site to Go. The customer’s own images and standard image uploads are separate from this.
Statutory withdrawal rights apply to unused image packages. Once provision or use of a digital allowance has begun before the withdrawal period expires with the consumer’s express consent, the statutory rules on expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital content or compensation for services may apply.
Image generations already used are not voluntarily refunded outside statutory claims. If a charged image generation fails completely due to a demonstrable technical error by Site to Go, the affected unit is restored or refunded after review.
9. Setup check
The setup check costs a one-off fee of EUR 49 and includes up to 25 minutes as well as the agreed review and test services.
Consumers may withdraw from the service within the statutory withdrawal period. If the appointment is to take place before the withdrawal period expires, the customer must expressly request that performance begin early.
If withdrawal takes place after performance has begun, reasonable compensation may be owed for the portion already provided. If the service is completed in full with the customer’s express consent and awareness, the right of withdrawal may expire where the statutory requirements are met.
Once the setup check has been completed in full, there is no voluntary refund entitlement outside statutory rights in relation to defects merely because the customer does not like the result or does not later use the information received.
10. Express support
Express support costs EUR 39 for each separately defined support case.
The booking includes a priority initial review and response, not a guarantee that a problem can be fully resolved within a particular period.
The same statutory rules as for the setup check apply where performance is requested before the withdrawal period expires. Once the agreed review has been completed in full, there is no voluntary refund entitlement outside statutory claims.
If the support case cannot be handled because Site to Go cannot begin the booked review for its own technical or organisational reasons, the payment is refunded.
11. Technical errors and defects
In the event of a demonstrable technical problem with Site to Go, the customer should first give us an opportunity to review and remedy the issue.
Depending on the cause and the applicable legal position, the following remedies may in particular apply:
- restoration of the contractually agreed functionality,
- remedial action,
- re-execution of a failed action,
- credit,
- pro-rata price reduction,
- termination of the contract and refund.
Statutory rights relating to non-provision or defects in a digital product remain fully unaffected.
12. No automatic voluntary refund entitlement
Once the statutory withdrawal period has expired, the following circumstances alone generally do not create a voluntary refund entitlement:
- a simple change of mind,
- non-use despite access being available,
- the customer not having a compatible AI plan,
- missing technical requirements that were clearly disclosed before purchase,
- problems with the customer’s hosting, theme, page builder or third-party plugin,
- outages or changes affecting ChatGPT, OpenAI, Google, WordPress, WooCommerce or other third parties,
- subjective dissatisfaction with text or images generated by an external AI provider,
- cancellation after a renewal charge has already been processed.
This does not apply where Site to Go itself is defective, promised functions are missing, technical requirements were presented incorrectly or mandatory statutory rights apply.
13. Duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised charges
If an amount was:
- charged twice,
- charged despite timely cancellation,
- charged in an incorrect amount,
- assigned to the wrong customer account,
please contact us at wpsitetogo@gmail.com.
Following review, an amount charged without justification is refunded using the original payment method.
14. Requesting a refund
Please send the following information to wpsitetogo@gmail.com:
- name,
- email address used for the order,
- order or subscription number,
- date and amount of the payment,
- affected plan or add-on service,
- brief description of the request.
Please do not send complete credit-card details.
No reason is required to exercise the statutory right of withdrawal. The additional information merely helps us assign the request quickly.
15. Processing time
Legally required repayments following withdrawal are made no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal declaration.
Other approved refunds are generally initiated through the original payment method within 14 days after the review has been completed.
Depending on the card-issuing bank, it may take longer for the credit to become visible on the credit-card account.
16. Cancellation is not withdrawal
Cancellation ends an ongoing subscription for the future, generally at the end of the current billing period.
Withdrawal reverses an online consumer contract within the statutory withdrawal period.
For this reason, sitetogo.io provides two separate functions:
- “Cancel contracts here” for ending the subscription,
- “Withdraw from contract” during the statutory withdrawal period.
17. Statutory rights remain unaffected
This policy does not restrict any mandatory statutory rights. In particular, rights relating to:
- non-provision,
- defects,
- failure to provide updates,
- price reduction,
- termination of the contract,
- damages,
- unauthorised payment charges
remain unaffected.
18. Changes to this policy
Changes to this policy apply only to future contracts or insofar as they do not impair existing statutory or contractual rights.
The version made available when the contract is concluded applies.
