Progress should feel simple.
Site to Go was not born from an abstract product idea, but from a real problem: website work is often unnecessarily complicated, spread across too many tools and harder for many people than it needs to be.
My most important principle is fairness. Technology should not make people dependent or overwhelm them. It should give them time, make decisions easier and return control to them.
I did not move from theory into development. I moved from the problem into development.
My background is in marketing and IT. These two fields showed me early on how often good ideas fail because processes are unnecessarily complicated. Marketing is about understanding people. IT is about building solutions. To me, the two belong together.
While working with websites, I repeatedly saw that even small changes required far too many steps: logging in, finding the right page, opening the editor, optimizing an image, checking SEO, reviewing the preview and putting everything back together. That costs time and makes people dependent on tools that are supposed to help them.
That is exactly where Site to Go came from. Not because the world needed another AI product, but because the workflow itself needed to become better.
Fairness first.
To me, a product is only good when users understand what is happening, make their own decisions and retain control at all times.
- no hidden changes
- no artificial dependency
- no unnecessary barriers
- clear previews and confirmations
Why should progress create more work?
People already use AI assistants because tasks can be described naturally. At the same time, WordPress remains the most important system for content, products and visibility for many businesses.
The real gap was therefore not another interface, but the connection between the two.
“Not another tool. A better way to work with the system you already have.”
Site to Go connects familiar AI conversations with controlled WordPress actions. Changes are prepared, reviewed and only carried out after explicit confirmation.
Recognize the problem
Make unnecessary steps, tool switching and everyday uncertainty visible.
Simplify the workflow
Describe the task in natural language and have it prepared technically.
Keep control
Review the draft, view the preview and consciously confirm critical changes.
Progress matters. It has to happen.
This mindset is what led me to develop Site to Go in the first place. I do not believe existing problems should simply be accepted because processes have worked that way for a long time.
At the same time, not every new technology is automatically a good solution. Progress must be understandable. It must create real value. And it must never take control away from people.
Progress is good when it makes people stronger — not more dependent.
Understandable
Users should be able to see what is happening and why.
Useful
New features must solve a real problem.
Controllable
The final decision remains with the person.
Responsible
Security and privacy are considered from the very beginning.
Good technology begins with a real problem.
A technically impressive product is not enough if it does not make anyone’s daily work easier. In the same way, a good idea is not enough if the implementation is unreliable or difficult to understand.
Understand
Which task wastes time, creates uncertainty or causes dependency?
Simplify
How can it become a clear, natural and fair workflow?
Safeguard
How can content, decisions and access remain controllable at all times?
Support, not takeover.
Site to Go prepares new content as a draft by default. Publishing and other critical changes require explicit confirmation.
Your normal WordPress password is not required for the connection. Access is granted separately and can be revoked.
Site to Go is an independent product. ChatGPT is a service provided by OpenAI. A connection to Claude is planned; Claude is a service provided by Anthropic. External AI services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
